Prior to originating in any state, please review the state requirements regarding Branches and Loan Officers in the Approved States. Supreme Lending is an un-supervised lender for HUD. We are based in Dallas, Texas; therefore, our license will show as such on HUD's website and on FHA Connection. HUD regulations allow us to satellite (branch) anywhere in the country. Some states require a license to originate HUD loans; however, many states exempt us from licensing strictly for government loans. This means you can originate HUD loans even if you do not have a license in that state. Be sure to check with our corporate office if you have any doubts concerning licensing or exemption in your state.
